The capsules are a combination of a proton pump inhibitor and a stomach acid reducer. The proton pump inhibitor is proton pump inhibitor medicines (PPIs) that are taken by mouth or used to treat acid reflux. The stomach acid is acid released into the stomach when acidity is rising. Proton pump inhibitors are effective for GERD, but also for conditions such as heartburn and acid reflux. They can also be used to treat conditions associated with heartburn such as frequent heartburn, frequent acid reflux, acid reflux and ulcers.
