This medication is a little different from past medication. It does not contain aluminum or magnesium stibler. It does not contain iron oxide which is a known ingredient in antacid tablets. This product contains anhydrous lactose and is a live dye which may affect your diet. I was surprised that I got this much relief as it helped me to get back on my normal stomach-GERD pattern. I would highly recommend this product. I had tried other products but it was much more affordable. I can't wait to start taking Nexium 24HR again. I've read that taking acid reducers may cause more side effects than other over the counter products. I'm so glad that I do know what I've read. Take your medicine regularly. Check your diet and I would recommend that you take 20 mg once a day with a glass of water. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember.
